The narrator grins at all the blood on the big screen behind him. "Well look't that! It's a regular ol' butcher shop! Are ye sure it wasn't the pulse wave that made that mess?" He pauses and listens to someone off camera. "You're kidding! What'cha thing yer pullin' here?! They can't be trying to get into the stude--!"

He is inturrupted by the sound of banging on a nearby steal door. "Turn off the camera!" Five minutes after the destruction of a nameless Midwestern town, local gawkers and slackjawed yokels found the pulse wave huntress's journal on a hill. Sadly, the author was nowhere to be found. Search parties have combed the surrounding area in between their beer shipments and barbecue cookouts. Unfortunately, all they have reported are sightings of a strange robed man persuded by his rabid pet.

What happened to the doomed pulse hunters? The journal, written in 5 year-old scrawl, may one day reveal the answer.

You won't believe what happened! There I was examining an oversized sausage link when something blew up in my face and sent me flying out of the hospital! As luck would have it, I landed in a comfortable tree. Just as I was getting down there were more explosions. I blacked out after one of them knocked me from my tree. When I woke up, I saw that crazy robed guy again!

He was standing on a hill with a remote controler in his hand, laughing like a box of crazed hyenas, watching some city burn. He didn't even pause to offer me a glass of water! Well, I certainly couldn't let him get away with that . We've only been here 10 minutes, but I'm convinced Cyan is insane. He just sits there, staring at me as I write this, his eyes flashing with madness. We've got to find a Pulse Wave soon, or he'll go beserk and pie us all! Our popcorn is running low and I drank all my pop. Damn I gotta go...
