When Aeris died.....
I used her alot, and it was just... so, so shocking. Then when you fough Jenova with Aeris music in the background, that made me feel Cloud's rage and anguish. |

Does everyone only get sad over Aeris's death because they used her a lot?! >_<
Anyway, I chose Aeris's death. It was so sad. I think the dialogue made it the sad part, really. Just what Cloud says about her never being able to talk or anything again. Even the battle with Jenova. Her theme song really sets in the sad mood, I tell ya. |

Next time you post something like this, make sure you put a Spoiler warning in the title. Some people haven't beaten some of the games, and it sucks when you have something spoiled for you. Just a friendly reminder...
For me, there were a few tear jerkers, some of them are listed, so I'll name the ones that aren't listed, that I liked. Ah, time for spoilers... First one: In FFVIII when Rinoa is out in space and 'Dies' Aw, it was so sad... Second: In FFX when Auron dissappears! It was so sad! He was my FAV character ever!! I didn't want him to go  And lastly: FFX-2 during the 1000 Words concert... It made me cry. Shuyin never heard Lenne's last words... Such a sad ending to their lives...Yeah, there's a few in FFVII too... But I'm too lazy to type em out, lol. I think I missed a few other ones too... Again, I'm too lazy

I chose other because the death of Kuja was the saddest of all.
I mean, Seifer's confession of his undying love for Squall was a tearjerker too, but oh well.

After I beat Final Fantasy X, I was depressed for a week...I'm not kidding either. I still cry (a lot) every time I beat it. And I agree with Selphie...the 1000 Words concert was really sad! And when Yuna did the summoning for Kilika that was pretty sad too. But at least I didn't cry that time...

I thought in VIII where Squall walks Rinoa to Esthar, that was pretty sad. And when Beatrix started to leave Alexandria at the end of IX.

I didn't find the ending that sad that it brought tears to my eyes. I thought it was cool, and it was sad yeah, but not enough to make me cry. Final Fantasy VII's stuff probably made me cry the most. -_- Oh! Another sad scene was when you've finished fighting Dyne with Barret. It's that thing he says: "Barret. . . don't ever make Marlene cry." I really thought that was sad! He didn't even get to know his own daughter! Then he just drops himself off the cliff like that...I also thought the scene where Elmyra (Aeris's adoptive mom, I think) is telling them all about Aeris not being her child and how she found her. It's the song, I tell you! It increases the sadness x10! But that part where she's talking about her husband fighting in a war (which sounded like it was in Wutai) and how she received a letter saying that he had passed. But it's that thing that Aeris says before that, so innocently as a child:"Don't be sad." "What?" "Someone close to you has just returned to the planet..."

AWWWW, I know what you mean, Blizzaga. That part with Aeris was...a tearjerker. *sniff*
But pretty much everything in FF7 made me cry. After Disc 1, I just had this reoccuring thought, saying, "AERIS IS DEAD! AERIS IS DEAD!" And that was just pretty depressing. But I voted FFX's ending. God, that was sad. I cried until Tidus popped out of the water and it said "The End". But then I threw my shoe at the TV and screamed "YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!" |

Hmmm...that would have to be when Kefka died...wait no, that pissed me off more than made me sad...because nothing really depressing happened.... I know, when Cid (in ff6) died I cried a bit...THERE WAS NO PURPOSE TO HIS DEATH FOR FUCKS SAKE!!! and then the flashback to when Setzers @#%$ (forget her name) crashed in her airship....the music..my god... |

I think that Setzer's airship friend was named Daryl. Yeah, I thought that was sad, 'cause she never came back. With obvious implications. -_-

the most tear jerking moment in final fantasy history, id like to say aeris's death in 7 but with the poor graphics (comparitively speking) and no voice dailogue ( to hear the emotion in clouds voice) i nominate when tidus and yuna fall in love, you know the water scene, because when that happened i knew at least one of them was going to die, case closed, sne me your thoughts drum_idiom@iwon.com and s.n. was wearing
