No . . . Atma Weapon is a wimp. You can beat him at barely lvl. 20 just by chucking shuriken at him.

All I used mostly was.. Edgar with his chainsaw.. Locke with 2 Hawkeyes... Terra with one Thunder blade sword thing.. and one Atma Sword.. and then I had Ninja with bleh stupid little knifes that's it. That Genji Glove is awesome. Having Locke with two Hawkeyes is deadly when thrown heh heh. 'causes big azz damage. AtmaWeapon was a joke..

Omega was a matter of preperations. If you keep everyone else at a piss poor level and have just Squall and Zell being ultra strong, Zell does more damage than Squall's Lionheart.

Heroes, Mighty Sephiroth, heroes. Do you have Laguna's card? If you don't, I think you can get it from the card club or card Queen. She's hanging out in southern Esthar.
Once you get it, card-mod it into 100 Heros. Then use 'em when fighting Omega to make your characters invincible. If you have 100 cursed spikes, tool-ref those into a Dark Matter and give it to Quistis so she can learn Shockwave Pulsar. It takes away more damage than Lionheart! PIXIE STIXFood of the Crazed |

Like I'm really gonna count how much damage Squall does whenever he hits something.
 :You don't have Laguna's card, huh. Ermm... I should move this to the FF8 section. Too lazy though... Omega is at Level 100 and Selphie's The End is rare. If you had at least one Hero and use it on her when her HP is critical, you might be able to do it. You don't need her or the Hero items at all if you know what you're doing. Lethal and Atma WEAPON are weaklings.
Amethyst WEAPON was taken out by Shinra. (Oh, well) Diamond and Ultimate WEAPON weren't hard to defeat. Emerald WEAPON is very tough. Ruby WEAPON is by far the toughest WEAPON. Ultima Weapon was also a wimp. Omega WEAPON is tough, unless you known to beat him the easy way. Future WEAPONs? C'mon Square! Put some new (and tough) WEAPONs in the future FF games! By my knowledge, Omega Weapon is the newest Weapon in the Final Fantasy series which first appeared in Final Fantasy VIII. There is no Weapons in Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy X only has Ultima Weapon and Omega Weapon.

yep, yep. I tried to kill Emerald and Ruby but failed miserably. I suppose I needed the Final Attack materia for them. I had the Underwater materia.
Ultima was a joke. One Knights of the Round. Pathetic, all you had to do was find him and chase him, that was the annoying bit. Is there an Ultima weapon in FFVIII? I can only think there's Omega. Why didn't FFIX have any weapons??? Well, I suppose they had that liddle sh.. Ozma. Grr. |

Atma was a joke, yes. But I really liked his design; you could tell somebody really took their time with it. Did anybody ever wait for his most powerful attack, that mental blast thing? He takes forever to do it, but when he does--you'd better be at a high level! He uses confusion, poison, and who knows what other status ailments, along with substantial damage. Once he gets that off, the battle just gets harder and harder. I played that boss maybe ten times, and only once did he get to use that attack!
BTW, was he the only boss in the game to have animations, or were there others? By animations, I mean the gears in his midsection. I don't remember any other bosses with that kind of thing. Plus, he talked a lot. Gotta respect a monster that talks back. |
